Welcome to Lync Client downloads page.

From here you'll be able to download all the software clients for Microsoft Lync, Lync Attendee, and Dynamics CRM plus all other Lync related resources. Use these versions of the client software to access our hosted services. All downloads include the latest updates from Microsoft. There's also some technical resource including capacity planning, and Lync Visio documentation, along with a new training site (see above)

When installing Lync, ensure the following where possible;

  • All previous versions of Lync, Office 365's Lync Online, Skype and any legacy versions of OCS are removed.
  • Windows is updated with the latest updates.
  • You enter the sign in address, whatever@emailandapps.co.uk as the sign in address and not the username
  • You double check the password, ensuring your caps lock is off, and your not typing anything spurious such as additional spaces.

Microsoft CRM2011 for Windows

 

The clients below install Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook, also known as the CRM 2011 Outlook client. Micrsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook enables access to your Microsoft Dynamics CRM data through Outlook. Updates (Cumalative Update 8) is also available.

Components also installed with this update rollup
The following components, if not already installed, will be installed when you apply this update rollup:

  • ReportViewer 2010 control

Hotfixes and updates that you have to manually enable or configure

This Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Update Rollup contains hotfixes and updates that you must manually enable or configure. Microsoft Lync 2010 Attendee - User Level Install

Windows

Microsoft Lync 2010 Attendee is a conferencing client that allows users without Microsoft Lync 2010 installed, to participate in online meetings. If you are not an administrator on the computer but an administrator has allowed you to perform installations, you can install this application.

Joining Meetings

With Lync 2010 Attendee, a user can join a meeting in one of two ways:

  1. As an unauthenticated user, by providing a guest display name.
  2. As an authenticated user by providing corporate credentials.
Depending on how the organizer has set up the meeting, the user will either join the meeting immediately or wait in the lobby until a meeting presenter admits the user.
Microsoft Lync 2010 Attendant (64 bit)

Windows

To install this download:
  1. Download the file by clicking the link above and saving the file to your hard disk.
  2. Double-click the program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation on the desktop.


To remove this download:
  1. To remove the download file, delete the .msi file saved to your hard disk.

To uninstall this program:
  1. Go to the control panel and remove the application from Add/Remove programs

To install this download:

  1. Download the file by clicking the link above and saving the file to your hard disk.
  2. Double-click the program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.

Installing Lync Guide
